its what you do with doubts that counts lets review the "facts" okay, Of all the information, the knowledge you do NOT know, have no idea where to find it can God live there? Okay design, someone designed the rockets, the shuttles we send up someone did not just put the materials in a container and shake it up and out came a shuttle, and you have a creator, and the ten commandments [not suggestions] are the baise for all countrys laws that you would ever want to live in so if the ten commandments are real so is the rest, first Pray before and then investagate the claims of The Holy Bible say the King James verson and get free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com bible questions www.bibleinfo.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

It doesn't break any of the commandments, well, minus the first one. There have been time that I have had doubts. I look around and think ' how could a loving God allow all these bad things to happen?" The answer to that is free will. He gave it to use, so for good or bad, we must live in the world we've made it to be.

I’m trying to remember which father of the Church said “a thousand questions does not equal 1 doubt." Doubt and questioning just one of the ways in which we can mature. My way of thinking about doubt here though is more aimed at MY understanding and MY perception of God rather than the actual being or nature of God. It would be more of a questioning ...

If we do not question what we believe, then we have placed our faith in our beliefs, and there is no room for us to grow.

Even the greatest followers of God in the Bible had times of doubt- David in Psalm 22, Job in... well, most of the book... see Chapter 6 among others, Elijah in 1 Kings 19:4, etc. God welcomes doubt, as long as it is doubt that leads us to seek the answers instead of turn away from the truth. I grew up being told, "The truth is like gold- the harder you rub it, the brighter it shines" In other words- if doubt in God leads you to seek Him, the answers will prove to you that He is real and your faith will be strengthened.

Not at all. God does not expect us to "just believe." That is not real faith. That is blind credulity.

And God certainly understands if and when we have doubts. He wants us to make sure of him.

I remember the doubts I had years ago. Do not worry. It is not a sin at all to doubt. It is perfectly understandable.

it is a sin to have proofs that god exists and you still doubt the thoughts

No! That's just foolish thoughts. Sin is the inherited nature we all have. Believers or un-believers.

The things we do in the flesh are the "fruits" of this sin nature.

You know? Almost everyone out there passes through that feeling at some point or another. Even those who are atheist, at some point, had to have questioned the veracity of the Holy Scriptures. It's not only healthy for your faith, but it's also not a sin. The sin would be to deny His exsistance and turn your back on the Holy Spirit. In a world plagued with violence and suffering, we often question the existance of God. And wonder why it is that He would allow such torment and anguish upon His creation. Truth is, now a days, it's nearly impossible to have faith. It takes a special kind of faith to see past all the deception and suffering that Satan has brought upon this world. After all, he is the ruler. And until he is removed from the throne by Jesus, his sole purpose lies is bringing as many people down with him. What you have to realize is that, you have come to a point in your faith where you have to choose a path. Growing up with religion offers a few advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, you have the knowledge to understand the difference between right and wrong based on the principles set forth by God Himself. On the other, most of us who were influenced young, don't have the capability to understand why we suffer or why we should believe in God. It's like watching every romance movie or reading every book. Knowing everything there is to know about love. But, unless you've experienced it, you can't possibly understand it the way it was meant to be. You've come to a point in your life where you have started to ask those questions. Now is the time to truly sit down and research everything you can to find te answers you're looking for. The ten commandments are just guidelines. If you want to truly acquire a faith in God, it's going to take time. Sorround yourself with people who can share your faith. Motivate each other to follow the examples set forth by Jesus. And live your life in accordance to His will. In time, you will start seeing the difference. You've already seen what this world has to offer you. Wealth, power, fame... As enticing as these gifts are, they are extremely short term and they come from Satan, not God. The people who think that they've been blessed by God because of the size of their bank accounts or their hand in power are sadly deceived by the evil serpent. The path to righteousness is hard and narrow. And few are those who walk upon it. But the path to destruction is wide, and many are those who will fall. If you're looking for proof other than the bible, look towards the world arround you. Every living thing is a testament of His creation. Ask the important questions. Like why we die? What hope is there for those that have passed on? What lays in our future? What is our purpose? Why do we suffer? All these questions have an answer. But not every religion can give you the real one. Use the Bible as a reference and seek to fortify your faith. It's really your choice. We have that ability. But not every choice can lead to eternal life. After all, Adam and Eve had that choice as well. They were in the presence of God Himself! They could have chosen life. But they chose to disobey Him. Now, we all share the same fate as Adam and Eve. We inherited their doom. It took a perfect man to lose perfection. And a perfect man to give it back. That's why Jesus died for us. To give us the opportunity to get back what Adam and Eve lost. All you have to do is have love for God. Believe in Him. And live your life in accordance to His Will. As simple as it sounds, why is it that so many of us fail?

It's not a sin but it shows a lack of faith in God.

Healthy skepticism is a good thing. Arrogance,( ignoring
the facts), is fatal!
If 9,000,000 people have seen flying space craft. Can a person consider themselves a healthy skeptic if they don't want to believe it? That's arrogance!
Whether they are aliens, or demons acting like aliens.
Who gives a SH1T! It still proves there is more to our
reality than some want to "believe"!
