prophet muhammed and jesus and all other prophets(peace be upon them all) were all sent for the same mesg which is to worship only one god , islam confermed the previous relevations and completed them , it is the followers of jesus who has changed and corrupted the bible and introduced wrong cobncepts about which isnot from it , never said by jesus himself, we muslims follow the path of all prophet the path of pure monothism.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allâh and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ'il (Ishmael), Ishâque (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob), and to Al-Asbât [the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Mûsa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islâm)." 2:136

Muhammad (PBUH) was sent after Jesus (PBUH). Muhammad did not change or "refuse" any of his teachings as they are pure and blessed (to Jesus (PBUH). Both of these great men were Messengers of Allah (SWT) and came to this selfish, cruel and arrogant world to spread peace, love and faith to humankind and prevent us creatures to go astray.
It is us, human beings that refuse and do not confirm what the Messengers of Allah (SWT) told us to do.
Muhammad told us to worship one God, a Monotheistic God in which the Christians and Jews believe in. The same God that brought the holy books to Jesus (PBUH), Moses (PBUH) and previous messengers. Muslims agree on the 10 commandments so it is pretty impossible to refuse 1 and accept 9, then we wouldn't follow Allah's path he set us and ordered us to follow.
Overtime, many followers of the 2 monotheistic religions (Judaism and Christianity) rather made false beliefs and created/added many teachings which oppose the true monotheistic belief and actual Word of God. Unlike Islam, which still follows the Word of God (The Holy Quran) without any change. The Word of God (The Holy Quran) is promised to never change forever. Here is proof:
[15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.
[56:77-80] This is an honorable Quran. In a protected book. None can grasp it except the sincere. A revelation from the Lord of the universe.
[85:21-22] Indeed, it is a glorious Quran. In a preserved master tablet.

Simple;
Both were the prophets of same one and only God and both preached what God told them to.
Now its God, he doesn't change his sayings everyday. Most of the things are same. The things in bible have been changed along the ages. The message from Holy Prophet Mohammed is more recent and reliable. The things that really changed are because of the needs of the day.

Then since Mohammad confirmed what Jesus said (and taught)...
I would recommend reading the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Start with the book of John (4th book of the New Testament) and once that's read then read Luke, Mark and Matthew.
The Holy Bible is an accurate and the only authority on the life, ministry and death of Jesus of Nazareth.
I'm sure it will reveal to you many, many truths and I hope you enjoy it!
Merry Christmas!!!

Muhammad (pbuh) did not talk about getting revenge he instead asked people to forgive and never exceed limits. Its surprising you talk as if you knew him personally. I think you are looking at the sites made by non-muslims who will only make islam look bad. now i could open an anti-christian site and read everything there and believe it. but i dont because i know better. when i see something like that i try to read up on it before i say anything. and usually i dont say anything anyways. Its Christmas! and you're still on your computer fighting over whos religion is true or not. why

According to scholars, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad are all descended from Abraham (the father of many nations). It's no wonder why the latter would not contradict the former. Even Jesus said that He did not come to destroy the Law (same "Law" that God put into writing for Moses to present during Hebraic times) but to fulfill it. Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad did not contradict each other. It is we who are in the present times who insist that they did.

Hahahaha, this is humorous. My terrific chum's Buddhist from Thailand, and clearly she would not believe in God, yet each and every possibility she gets she says oh my God, or Jesus. i assume various those sayings comprise the English language. i'm Turkish, and in case you pass to Turkey, you will no longer hear somebody asserting Isa, it quite is Jesus, yet human beings do no longer say oh my Allah the two.

Answer: It was all part of the "islamic shuffle" that Muhammed was dancing at the time. He "used" a lot of material from both the OT (Judaism) and the NT (Christianity) when he was inventing islam. Then, he rejected those holy books as "corrupted" in order to attempt to build some credibility for his koran (can't argue if your sources are bad, huh?). After saying Jesus was right, he then rejected/denied the divine nature of the Son of the one true God, Jesus. In so doing, Muhammed denied the nature of God. Hence, his invention "allah" is a false god.
