Is whole grain white bread really any better health-wise than good ol' Wonder Bread?

True whole-grain breads are far healthier than traditional white breads. Traditional white breads have very little fiber, and the bleaching they do to make them white removes nutrients. Some of the new whole-grain white breads are in the middle -- they have more healthy fiber than traditional white breads, but are not as nutritional as other whole-grain breads.

Yes it is healthier. See last fat loss tip on site below to see why. Applies to brown and white rice. Although sometimes they add lots of corn syrup to a whole grain bread making it a junk food like candy bars.

read the labels. Look for the breads with the higher fiber content, that equals healthier.

Wheat bread is better than white bread..it has less carbs..and it tastes better too..
