yes you could but i wouldnt jump to that conclusion. think about other factors as well. are you on any medications that may have a side effect of moodiness? also, is there a correllation betweeen the weather and your feelings? (seasonal affective disorder) or if your teenager, it could simply be hormones. i wouldnt jump to the conclusion of bipolar if i were you. try discussing this with your mom or doctor. if your mom says your "just depressed" there is a bigger issue. depression is not something that should go untreated. if this bothers you tell your mom you want to seek advice from a prefessional. this exact thing happened to me but when i switched my medications my moods became normal and less angry or down. good luck i hope i could help

We all have mood swings. Some of us overreact to them. I would start by seeing a Dr. to get a physical and complete blood work done first. Sometimes a physical problem or even lack of certain vitamins can cause mood swings. Is that is the case then it should be easy to fix. If it goes deeper than that then I suggest seeing another professional for counseling. Best of luck to you.

There are two types of Bipolar
Bipolar I Disorder: characterized by two emotional extremes-depression and mania. Mania is an elated, very emotional state.
Sometimes mood swings and behavior are severe enough to be classified as psychosis.
Bipolar II Disorder: Also characterized by extreme mood swings.
Episodes include depression, and at least one episode of hypomania (mania that is not severe enough to interfere with everyday life).
Biological factors also appear to play a role in mood disorders.

If you were bipolar, your moods would not change that quickly, so your current symptoms do not fit the diagnostic criteria for bipolar disorder. Have you considered borderline personality disorder? It is hard to tell without an examination, so I suggest you see a psychologist or psychiatrist. good luck

I am Bipolar. I have been for years and suffered. I finally had a doctor listen to me. I take medication for it. My life is so different now. I can get up every day. I smile. Everyone is different, you need to talk to a professional. It could be hormones. Good Luck.

Too little information to go on. How long has it been going on for ?
How has it affected your normal day to day life? How old are you?
If its unlikely to be hormones a visit to your doctors will definitely help to throw light on things

bi-polar doesn't cycle that fast - it's probably just hormones. However, you really should talk to a professional about this, and not ask the question on Yahoo.

Please... you're just unaware of your always-changing human-nature.
No mood is static (unmoving)... & reactions come and go like ripples on a lake.
You have no problem, other than being unable to recognize the obvious.
