Is there any other interpetation to the song Casing Cars other then saying you like someone... Because I was dropping someone off at the airport, that I have been seeing. As we were getting there, the song came on and she started to sing it. The problem is that she is a bit jaded from prior boyfriends, and is almost always distant, (she is very guarded emotionally). I can't figure out where I stand in her life. How do you interpet this?

I'm not sure what the song has to do with anything. She likes the song, so she sang along. Doesn't mean it has any effect on how she feels right now or where you stand.
Just take it slow, and let her make the calls.

There may or may not be a meaning some people just like to sing certain things..I sing alot of off the wall songs just because they are fun for me to sing. It sounds like you need to open up and have a conversation about where you stand in the relationship and where each of you think it's going.

It's funny because im just like that person you've been seeing....To me if I was to sing that song it would mean that I like you but just don't know how to show it or tell u.... Singing that song would be the only way I know how to say something without letting my guard down or getting hurt....She really like u.... Just know that....Show her that u like her and just keep letting her know that she can trust u....That is the best way.

i see chasing cars as a song that shows someones love for you..
its saying "if i lay here, if i just layed here, would you lay with me" and in the video, he's laying in all the places a person wouldnt lay there with him... unless they really loved eachother and is willing to look past where they are, and see that they're with eachother.
