It does not look good for you, unless a honest employee, or fellow traveller turns this in to Greyhound. I'm not preaching, but if you have something of exceptional value in your luggage....ask the transport company what the policy is concerning this...
To their defense, how can they be sure if someone claims a $10,000.00 gold and diamond embezzled ROLEX watch was in their "lost" luggage?
Go through the motions, leave a paper trail of who you spoke to... and next......Call 1-866- 442-7649, the Apnix Corp., and explain your plight, and inquire about the possibilties of a used/remanufactured unit. From them, or a referral.... They usually have something on the shelf and are eager to move units when they can. Good Luck (try e bay!!!)

Personally, I think you will have a difficult time getting them to replace it. I would suggest contacting the station at which you boarded and the station at which you disembarked and notify them of the incident and ask them if someone contacts them regarding a missing camera bag or missing shoulder bag; ask them if they got your cpap machine and carry bag by mistake. You will probably have to pester the hell out of them to get them to follow through on this. Sorry to hear about the loss. They are not cheap either.

The only insure your belongings for a small amount. And that usually isn't enough to cover bigger things, let alone everything. Even if you've bought extra insurance.
