I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Fast walking will benefit more for your heart. But to efficiently burn fat calories you need to increase your heart rate to a target level of 60 to 80% of your peak heart rate for a minimum of 30 minutes. Also keep in mind, when burning fat, your body will burn the fat in the areas containing the least amount of density FIRST, then work towards the next, then the next until it reaches the biggest area, which for most is the buttocks and/or belly region. Therefore, don't expect fast results, depending on your overall fat percentage.

Yes, it'll help, as long as your weight is stable with your current diet and you don't start eating more.
You have to walk fast enough, tho, to keep your heart-rate at a consistant, moderately high level.
For about $35 - $75, you can buy a heart rate monitor, then click on the link below and figure out what your target heart rate should be for your current fitness level.

I like Ruby's answer since my name is Abe...let's all crunch me!! lol
And yes, it will help you burn the fats around the belly area, but it won't be as much as going for a jog on it, or using a cross-trainer. Just keep in mind how many calories you burn.

It is a start. Slowly add in jogging within a week....slow jog. You will see the inches fall off. Keep away from high carbs during this time like, cereal, bread, cakes, donuts, etc.
