I have a 80gb hd & just installed a fresh copy of win2k,
I have a system restore program...
how much space should I use for the system restore?
its asking 4000mb....(but thats a little much)
I figure 1024mb?=(1gb)?

I use 1 Gig myself. Just beware that if you ever turn off system restore for any reason or manually clear your system restore points, Windows will revert back to the default 12% of total HD space.

Seems like Windows still thinks everyone is using 10 Gig or less drives. now days 12% is way too large!

in my opinion i imagine equipment fix is sweet and its even more beneficial now with vista had a huge difficulty the different day when I tryed to replace my pix card drivers and made my reveal bypass black when I restarted so i began vista and again to a previous equipment fix factor and whats up presto all operating nicely back. and that i have used equipment fix in residing house windows xp and residing house windows me and under no circumstances continually worked acceptable. So im ok about equipment fix taking a number of difficult force area and likewise u can modify how a lot equipment fix can handle your difficult force.
