My bf and i just moved in with his brother who is allergic to his cat. My bf's brother just got a product called allerpet/c that you are supposed to put on the cat to reduce her dander and decrease the allergy to the cat. Just wondering if anyone has tried this and if it worked...but more importantly is it safe for my cat. Im concerned because I have seen cats get very sick from over the counter products such as flea and tick repellants. I dont want my cat to get sick.

the product has to be used at least once a week. bathing once a week and brushing will help with the dander. it's up to you if you want to bathe your cat weekly. some cats HATE baths. i have a big scar on my arm to prove that! A groomer can be expensive, but you may be able to work something out with one if you bring it in every week for a bath and brush. I'm a groomer and work those types of deals all the time! good luck
