Poker only. It's the only game where chance is reduced by the bluff call.

There are three main casino games with lowest house edge: Blackjack, Baccarat and Craps.
What is house edge?
In numbers, it's the casino's average profit from a player's bet. For example, in blackjack house edge is about 0,5%, baccarat – 1,06%, craps – 0.8%. All these games give you decent chances to win, especially if you are skilled at math.
On the contrary, slot machines have house edge from 0 to 17%, Roulette – 5,5%, Keno – 25+%.
It means that chances to win are really low and you are totally dependent on your luck.
So, if you want to win, choose games with the lowest house edge and avoid slots and lottery.
Personally, I like slots for diversity and simplicity but never play for money.

If you want to save money, do no play anything. The most even odds you have are roulette, and the safest game to play is single deck blackjack. Anything else and you will lose.
Here is a hint for gambling - if you can not afford to take the money outside and through it away, you have no business gambling it - the odds are always in the favor of the casino, especially the longer you play.
They don't build shiney tourist traps because they are giving away more than they take in!!!
Do NOT play slots - they are a rip off. The "best" payback I have seen is 97%, which means, on the average, that the casino is getting 3 cents for every dollar played.

Blackjack (when you play correctly, less that 1% house advantage), craps (pass, also less than 1%) and baccarat (slightly over 1%) are the best odds offered in a casino. Or better yet, learn poker and play against morons.
Roulette, despite what other people say, is not that great. Your odds are not close to even because of the 0 and 00 numbers. (house advantage is 5.26% for American wheels).
And don't listen to that other person about playing slots close to public areas. They are not set to pay out more because doing that would be illegal. These machines are governed by the gaming authority and a casino wouldn't dare tamper with them for risk of losing their license. Its one of many casino myths.
Your best bet is to google "house advantage" using the quotemarks and familiarize yourself with the games and their odds. Good luck!

Blackjack is by far the best game to win money at if you know the blackjack strategy.
Though I enjoy Roulette and have won $600 from them in the last two weeks. Just in time for Christmas presents!!!

If you are in Vegas, at the major casinos, and you are playing slots, make sure you play the machines that are really visible and in heavy traffic areas...i.e. next to entrances and exits, or close to atm machines (in front of the buffet line is the best I think) these machines are set a bit looser than the others so that the people walking by will see people win on them...you probably won't hit a big $10,000 jackpot on one of them, but if you are smart about it you can hit several 40 or 50 dollar pots and in some cases that can pay for your trip. Whoever said that the best idea is to set a limit and stick with it is on the right track...gambling can quickly go from being a lot of fun to a lot of problems if you don't know when to cut yourself off.

Merry Christmas
I think card games are best as they can't change the odds just the payouts. Don't know to much about other table games. I do know keno has the worst odds.
Although slots are fun, especially with the animated bonus rounds, usually quarter slots pay better than dime or nickel slots, penny slots are the worst.
Theme games like Wheel of Fortune, Munsters, Price is Right etc.. usually have to pay the property owner something so the payout percentage may be lower. If you like you can read some of our slot articles, it's all free info and cover both land and online casinos.

I would like the world to stop and think for a moment prior to gambling days wages. You don't always win. Do not expect to be a millionaire at the end of your trip. Don't chase your lost money back with cash advances from your credit cards.
Video poker, blackjack supposed to be good moneys edge. But do not count on it to win every time!

I've heard the best odds are on playing "Roulette". But everyone thinks that "Blackjack" is cause it's so easy to play. Personally I hate to gamble because I work hard for my money & they didn't build those big casinos from losing money.
Merry Christmas....

Blackjack has the highest expected return (if played properly) followed by craps. If you are an excellent player you can make some money playing poker or sports betting.
