Try eBay. However, just let me say that was a really bad choice, IMO. If you got VHS, you could play them on your VCR, or minidv or even digital8 are digital, so they can be transferred to a computer, but SVHS wont really get you anywhere except for a slightly better quality than VHS. Its fine if you plan on watching your videos from your camcorder, but that eventually will wear down the heads, and considering the headaches associated with transferring the footage to a computer, you might save time and money returning the camera and getting something else. Heck, go VHS if you have to, or go DVD/minidv, but at least there are ways of watching them other than connecting your camcorder to a TV. Hope this helps!
