"Says you" is short and to the point. It means you say this and that, but I don't think like that, and I don't think that other people would say or think such a thing.
"Says you" is an answer. Whoever reported me is too sensitive. I am tired of some Muslims saying that they are insulted by freedom of speech or freedom of expression. This is such an example.
(PS: Please look at the question I was answering: He was saying Muslim women are pure, non-muslim women cheat on their husbands. (or words to that effect))

ha! you don't even want to know what i would have responded to that question...in one sentence i'd have written "because muslim women according to chauvanist religion are nothing but objects with the value of property which i have gathered from much exposure to the religion"
or i could have written an essay depending on my mood and the person who asked, and considering the question details perhaps the sentence because the person didn't seem to have much insight anyway..
but getting to YOUR question now, well if you were reported then perhaps close to have of the answerers should have been because whenever a question is asked on this site, the numbers may vary but close to half the answers recieved consist of vulgarity or irrelevency or uninvited annoying sarcasm.
the person who reported you seems to have had nothing better to do at the time or they might have vented their anger out here as many people often do (personal experience and whats funny is if you read my other answers you will see that i am nonoffensive and rather nice to those who are).
and obviously it doesn't concern that person when people write vulgar profane or adult material here because if that was the case enough of it would get reported.
personally the reason of violation for which you were reported is my favorite because it seems as though when you cant find anything else to provide as a reason, it is the final resort...
tip: laugh and write some more questions and answers to enlighten the world :)

There somewhat isn't any definitive answer to that. because a single undesirable violation can set off a suspension, what ratio you have would not advise something. till you get into somewhat enormous numbers. Like over 50%, in line with threat. additionally, frequency is a ingredient, it seems. Getting 20 or 30 violations in a month or 2 may well be advantageous; get them interior of 24 hours and it will become a real difficulty. As to appeals, preserving your win/lose ratio severe there is somewhat important. Too many failed appeals potential that there somewhat is a difficulty with the postings, which will advise artwork tension will desire to study the entire account finally. individually, my win ratio runs approximately 80 - 80 5%, i think of.

Consider the connotations of the reply you gave (btw I didn't "report" you, just looking at it from a different pov) and consider the fact that a lot of people generally take that as a negative type of post. Your intent is considered irrelevant in light of the fact that you're communicating with people who are firmly rooted in their self-cherishment which is attached to their own point of view trying to harshly defend their own religion... can you blame them from that pov? Just word your reply as you intend, more clearly and if you don't intend to "jag" them then write without anything that can be interpreted as being "harsh" and you might get more responses. Just a thought.

You're right, the asker was overly sensitive, but when we answer or ask anything, we should try to say it as simply and as kindly as possible so that our own feelings or frustrations don't get in the way of the point we are trying to make

well sadly it is true though. if a musslim woman is caught cheating, they are punished. i dont know if they are put to death any more but it is possible. the worst thing that happens to a Christian woman is her husband will leave her. if adulterers man and woman alike(men cheat just as much) were delt with like in the old testament, then people would keep thier pants up and be faithfull.

You got tagged by the Y!A Polizei. Stop trying to make sense of it. You'll go nuts. You have better luck in traffic court pleading your case after being caught speeding on camera.

If someone reported you, then it gets deleted, no questions asked... usually though it gives you an opportunity to refute it but why bother?
Yahoo doesnt read them, it just automatically deletes the question.

People report other people for no reason, and sometimes because they don't like you. I get reported all the time, and sometimes my answers are real answers.

While "says you" may be an answer, it is not an answer to the question posted.
Myself, I wouldn't have reported you but I would've considered reporting the asker for posting an insulting question.
