because im thinking of all the advantages and disadvantages. The advanatages are like true love, true bestfriend, someone you can trust and those things. The disadvantages i think are less time with friends, less time with studying. Are there more? I dont really know what should I do. cause if i get one its like my friends will act like"ok you just got a gf and your not hanging out with us anymore". and if spend time with them, my gf would think "ok your not taking this seriously, were over" something like that. help pls.

You have plenty of time to focus on a girl of your choice. Right now just try to focus on what you want to do in life like, where do you wanna be 6 years from now, what type of car do you want, and etc. Your young and with youth comes mistakes such as an unexpected pregnacy for one. this is just one of many unpredicted things that can happen that will put an immediate stop to your plans.. Just imagine this...6 years from now you're working at Chili's or somewhere and your waiting for Friday to buy your kid a pair of shoes, not to mention rent is due so now you're depressed thinking about gas to work for the next 2 weeks. Suddenly when you wait on this certain table, it's a friend of yours who did not make the youthful mistake driving a brand new vehicle, nice condo, and a beutiful woman not a cute girl...

Well i say you are only a kid once and only a teen once so do whatever you feel is right. If you make to decision to have a girlfriend and it turns out to be wonderful and nothing bad happens then yay good for you. But if you take the chance to not have a girlfriend even when everything could have been wonderful and great, you are missing out. Then there is the possibility that everything will screw up (whice i doubt will happen since you are only a sophmore) when you do get a girlfriend.

Your right about all that but truth is you need to really ask yourself what do you want in life. Being in relationship with someone doesn't have to be a struggle b/c you easily work things out. Ask yourself are you ready? And if you are then go for it and take a chance and see how things work out. And just remember you only have 1 life to live so live it the best way you can. So what are you waiting for?

well u can budget ur time with a gf..u dont have to spend very minute w/ her, and u 2 should be able to give eachother space, but yeah u do need to apend time with her..and put it this way in the long run you could be the smartest person in the world but if u have no one to share ur life with u will be the most un happy...so go for it, give it a shot- you really have nothing to lose...good luck!

Manlaw states that a getting a girlfriend BEFORE the age of manhood (18) is highly encouraged.

Manlaw also states that getting a girlfriend "KNOCKED UP" (as in pregnant) BEFORE the age of manhood (18) is highly discouraged and fool hearty.
