I have a Samsung burner powered by Nero.
My burner came with a printed User's Guide.
Didn't yours?
If not, I suggest you open your burner and look for the Help button. Failing that, go directly to Nero.

It depends how you want to burn DVD. If you want to burn DVD-movie that's going to be another story and another procedure.

Also, it depends on your version of NERO....

FOr just basic burner, like audio-dvd, data-dvd,
you use Nero like when you burn your CD-R.

Just don't forget to select the type of medium to be DVD
(correct medium) otherwise it won't burn.
For newer version (I assume all Nero after 2004 version)
1.) So select the mediumt type,
2.)select what type of burning (for ex. audio, data, disc copy or etc...),
3.) then select files or songs(if audio) from your harddrive to your DVD
4.) then click burn and ----wait------

That should be a basic procedure how to burn DVD with Nero.
Otherwise if you need to take a look at Help section in Nero or Manual.

Use Nero Burning ROM, start a new compilation, and use MiniDVD, or CD-ROM ISO.
