They certainly had more fun than the Old Testament God who incidentally was not a Christian God cause he was all-anger and all-disgust, whereas the Christian God was all-love (he existed in the New Testament). All that was back in ancient times.
Now we have science and technology and all that stuff. And all the great miracles and loud voices from heaven all that has pretty much ceased, so we really don't know what's going on with God, or even which God we got now.
If anybody has any info in this, I'd like to hear it. But the Greek Gods, yes you're right, they had more fun than the Hebrew Gods.

Yes, actually. It does seem that way... probably because the Greek gods were ficticious and the REAL God has been busy for several milennia trying to fix our screw-ups!
You know... we were hard-headed and got kicked out of the garden, then we started killing people, so THAT brought a curse. It got so bad, He had to flood the earth for 40 days; but we still wouldn't listen, so He burned down a couple of towns full of sexual miscreants. Not to mention the fact that He had to deal with idol worshipping, evil rulers, the captivity and persecution of His people, etc... and THAT was just the Old Testament!
(Sending your son as a sacrifice HAS to suck!)
Exciting? Yes. Fun? No.
Anyway, He's still got a lot of work to do dealing with renegade Angels, the upcoming Rapture and all; but I'm sure He's up there now rejoicing over every new soul that comes to Christ (Zephaniah 3:17).
But the REAL party's gonna be at the New Jerusalem, a beautiful City dressed like a bride awaiting her faithful groom - with golden walls and streets, with pearl gates and priceless jewels adorning the walls, with an ever-fruitful tree of life and a river of life like flowing crystal!
There'll be no more pain or death or crying or curse; and the glory of the Lord will light the whole Temple, so there'll be no more night either (Revelation 21&22)!
[Tickets ARE still available. See JESUS for details!]
So, while we Christians are celebrating the birth of our loving Savior with praise and thanksgiving, I guess the Greek gods will be hanging out with Dionysus, getting drunk and playing cruel tricks on men and women, or either trying to overthrow each other, while the helpless mortals get caught in the middle.
Fun? For them (They could care less)! For us? Drama!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I consider Lily. it isn't all about ''relaxing'' it really is going to be about you having a own relationship with Jesus Christ. also, you would possibly want to really be counted on Him, not basically ''connect'' Christianity because it type of feels "relaxing" and so that you do not owe your buddy a soda. Jesus Christ is the truth, the way, and the existence, no different guy can get to Heaven yet through Him. in case you truly believe that: Jesus Christ became the Son of God. Jesus died on the bypass for your and all and sundry else's sins That Heaven AND Hell exists that you're a organic born sinner in case you've faith in ALL of that, then say those words: Jesus, i believe that you died for my sins, that i'm a sinner, and that you're God's son. God, please cleanse my heart of ANY sin, and are available into my heart, so as that i might want to be with you continuously in Heaven. In Jesus call I pray, Amen.

well the Greek gods where interesting, Greece was more of a democracy so their ideas of gods was that you could choose to be on the side of one and against another on the merit of their activities.
Theology evoles along side dictatorship which is very boreing unless your the one in power. Gives people no choices and runs on fear. People end up being subdued and groveling a lot. No adventures anymore, just blind obedience to the state and church.
States are war machines so they always prefer theology. Total unquestioning obedience and mental control through religion linked to the state. Look at the economic war machine of the usa, Bush goes to war and tells people that god told him too and your either for him or against him. Another term for this is facism.

Greek Gods ARE more 'human' than the Christian God, aren't they? They have all the flaws & foibles we have, just with varying degrees of omnipotence.... (lucky stiffs!)

Satan makes all things that are non-Christian look appealing. In the END, GOD will judge each and every one of us. That time is coming... Heaven will be worth it all! Hear THE WORD, BELIEVE in the Savior, REPENT of your sins, CONFESS CHRIST as HIS SON, be BAPTIZED, Continue in FAITH until death and you too will have an opportunity to be in HEAVEN!! Have a great holiday,
