Try using a vinegar rinse in between shampoos to remove residue that accumlates on your scalp.

Vinegar rinse. Mix 1 tsp of cider vinegar with 2 cups of warm water. Rinse hair with this after shampoo and before conditioning. This brings hair back to a natural acidic pH that may have been lost due to frequent uses of harsh shampoos.
