I would like to know which kind of 2 pin plug do they use in Bangkok? Is it a flat 2 pin or round 2 pin? Could anyone show me a picture of it? Thanks!

Most placed in Thailand use the multi socket which will accept the flat or round 2 pin plugs. Adapters are readily available though. The biggest concern isn't so much the 220v, but the 50hz. If your equipment can't rectify 50hz you'll need a quite expensive power supply to change it. It essentially has to take the AC votlage, rectify and filter it to DC, then turn it back into AC at a different frequency and voltage. Most of the hotels I've stayed at have a 110 60hz outlet in the head though.

Mostly the flat 2 pins. Sometimes you get a combination socket with straight and round slots. Safer to go with the flat pins adapter.

Electricity in Thailand is 220 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Thailand with a device that does not accept 220 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter.
