some places will unlock for £10 dealers always exspensive. look in small ads of local paper.

If the car is still under warranty, you have no choice but to go to the dealership and ask them for the code. However, I don't think they should charge you for that... All they need to do is make a phone call to the Vauxhall HQ (each car has a file with all its codes there).
If the warranty has expired there might be car service that could somehow "decode" your radio.
If I were you, though, I'd go to the dealership and once I had the code, I'd write it all over the place so I won't lose it again ;)

Snap....there SHOULD be a card in the handbook or with the paperwork with the code on it...saying that, I had mine done by a local car stereo outlet for £5...just need to shop around and make some calls if you can't find the code number.

you only get 6 to 10 guesses on the code so dont keep trying i know it sounds obvious but have you looked on the rear of the stereo as i work in a main dealership and 99 times out of 100 its wrote on the back.

I have heard, not tried, just heard that if you put a car stereo in the freezer overnight it resets the code
