Cuz it's a movie & possibly because those funds are only just numbers on a screen. Maybe they just want thieves to do their business in this manner! Kind of stupid if you ask me!

In the computer age, the bad guys have become more knowledgeable. In essence, the bad guys have what's called a bounce transfer activated on the original account. This sends the money immediately to another account. If they do this several times, it just gets more and more difficult to trace the money.

They usually say to transfer the money to a Swiss bank account. The Swiss generally don't give out information about who owns an account. At least that's the stereotype.

They are normally refering to a bank account outside the US with no ties to the US and its laws. Many south American nations, some in the Caribean and of course Swiss banks.
Once money is put into those accounts the money can't be gotten back
