Maybe try telling him that he has a girlfriend and he needs to be flirting with her, and not other people. Just be honest on how you feel. Tell him you're flattered but he has a girfriend and you just don't fee that it's right.

One word. Ninjas.
Nothing says "leave me the hell alone" like a midnight ambush by black-clad martial artists. (Let me know if you want to go this route.)
On the other hand, I think the key to fixing this whole situation is to bring the other girl up to speed. This guy, frankly, is a loser. He's got a girlfriend, and he's chasing you...and that's not fair to either of you. If you get everything out in the open and he has to make a clear choice, things might get better.
Then ideally you could both reject him simultaneously. :)
Keep in mind, he's willing to flirt with you behind his current girlfriend's back...you shouldn't expect him to treat you any better.

if all you want is the attention and you aren't into him then it shouldn't be that hard for you to find another guy to get the attention from. it sounds as though you also like the attention that the drama brings; at the end of the day though that'll ruin your social life a lot more than if no one else ever knew about it.

Stop flirting.
Or have a hot torrid affair and get it over with.

Flirting does the body good.
As long as you aren't crossing the line, then all is FAIR.

Sounds like both you and your girlfriend like him and you do not want him to come between your friendship with her. If so, I would suggest you decide how you feel about him and come to some understanding with your girlfriend about it.
