As a private individual - nowhere. There are many established charities helping people in Pakistan. Perhaps you could contact them to discuss your idea. However, may people have lost trust in even the big Charitie Organizations as a lot of the money donated for the Tsunami is still sitting in bank accounts!

You could try running your own fundraising event. A race night is a good idea and I know of many groups who have done them. You could then go to other funding groups as many offer a matching contribution to money raised sort of deal........below a good site for race night info..
