Lust is purely physical.
Infatuation is when you obsess over them, but they may not be as into you.
Puppy Love is generally reserved for the younger people who are just coming into understanding what the feelings of a romantic relationship involve, usually it doesn't last.

Love is something entirely different. You can't explain the feeling because it runs so deep in your heart that the human language can't explain it. All you can do is explain the "symptoms".
When you're in love.....
you think about them all the time.
you want them to be happy.
you want to give to them.
you want to be close to them, share with them, know everything about them and have them know everything about you.
you think about your future with them.
you miss the things that "bug" you about that person when they aren't there.
you accept all of them, even the bad stuff.
there is no end to how much you feel when you are truly in love.

infatuation is often called a "crush" or "puppy love." your main interest is likely to be the person's physical assets (things you can perceive right away). it tends to start fast. your senses show you only the superficial, the shallow shell. you might well lose your head and do things you wouldn't otherwise think of doing when you’re infatuated with someone. it also stops the same way it starts - fast. the few things you do like about the other person - even those strongly held at first - begin to wear thin.

it is real love when your interest is in his or her total personality. it requires that you know and like the other person's whole self and it takes time. real love brings out the best in you. when you love a person you make an effort to be more deserving of the beloved. you want your beloved to be proud of you, so you try harder. life takes on new meaning, more sparkle. also, real love stops slowly. it will take long time to end a relationship and it will take long time to get over it.

lust is a deep biological drive that seeks erotic expression. it is possible for people to enjoy sex with someone, yet have absolutely no other interest in them except sensual satisfaction.

Manlaw makes this very clear.

Love is a seemingly indescribable feeling that a woman has when she "catches feelings" for a man and formulates the possibility of building a life around said man.

Women tend to project their feelings and experiences onto men and foolishly assume that men also "fall in love" and experience the same emotional state and plateaus.

Infatuation is a feeling you have when you can't seem to get someone out of your mind and you fantasize and ruminate frequently, if not incessantly, over the person who may or may not be attainable.

Lust is what both men and women feel when they are open to sexual relations to each other with no strings attached and possibly no names exchanged. Lust typically starts for men when they see a women they like and an erection follows. Lust typically starts for a woman when she meets a guy and ascertains that he is, in fact, bedroom material and warrants further investigation.

Also note that lust make little to no provision for consequences.

Puppy love is what a man and woman share when both of them have no capacity to "take care of business", "to produce an offspring", or "pay the bills". This love is typically reserved for romance of the teenage and pre-adulthood variety.
