i'm a bowler part of the national team and i bowl everyday for training. my relatives always say that it's the weight of my bowling balls that stunt my growth because i bowl wif 14 pound balls. does carrying heavy weights on yourself affect growing?

Your final height is generally genetically determined by your parents heights (unless you are malnourished or have a hormone problem). It is not affected by carrying heavy bowling bowls. Most 17 yr olds who have finished puberty will have stopped growing, but if your puberty was delayed, you may still have a few inches left (you can get your Dr. to ordar an x-ray of your hand to determine that if you want)

Good luck

Still a chance. I grew a few inches when I was almost 17. Drink a glass of high calcium milk after dinner every night.
