There is a little problem with the wording of your question.
The fact that planetary average temperatures are increasing is, I am afraid, irrefutable.
There may be a lack of consensus on the causes, but the globe is warming. Thus your question is a little like
why are people so dumb to believe planet Pluto exist?
why are people so dumb to believe woman have ovaries?
why are people so dumb to believe other people also think?

While humans have exacerbated global warning, it is a natural phenomenon. Our has gone through many warms and freezes throughout time. How do you think the glaciers melted? Pollution and green house gases may very well be speeding up the warming, but it would slowly occur any way.
Too not believe seems rather ignorant. The ice caps are melting, Canada over the last 10 years has experienced milder winters. It is quite real and will have a dramatic effect on the planet. Life must learn to adapt or we will die out. Perhaps you should look into it a little more before you label something as dumb.

Why are you so dumb in not understanding the circumstances of global warming? The people is not dumb. They have an scientific mind that can save this planet in believing in global warming. Go read some book!!!

Because some people have not been brain washed by the propaganda that is spewed out daily denying global warming. Some people are still capable of thinking for themselves and actually observing what is going on in their own back yards. Some people would rather speak out now than watch the destruction of our planet and the people living on it. Some people actually care what happens to other people thank goodness!

It's not dumb to believe in it when it's a true thing. Those who don't aren't dumb it's just it's dumb that they don't believe in it. I mean when the evidence is there that global warming is happening why won't you believe in it? I mean look at the weather and how strange it's been it's not just here in georgia it's everywhere. It's wintertime and it's been like fall or spring weather here. They won't talk about it if it wasn't true. Get your facts right and believe in the global warming or you have a rude awaken. The gloabl warming is getting worse everyday. Scientist won't talk about it or discover it if it wasn't true.

The Ppl. who believe in global warming are not dumb... the ppl. like u who does not believe in global warming are DUMB n contribute the most in the green house gases... increasing the global warming...

I don't know where you live but where I live, in my lifetime there have been BIG changes in the weather.
This year we moved alot further north...where one would expect it to be cold and snowy...nope not really
The summer that we spent here (in our new northern home) surprized even the people who have lived here all their lives...it was so hot and humid.
People who are in denial about global warning or say that it is just a natural trend(yeah it is but thanks to us humans we've pressed the fast foward buttun and we have abunch of idiots that are still pressing and won't get off of it), I can't understand what these people are thinking(but then again I don't "get" most people.....specially the ones who try and pile up the most stuff in this life......is it plastic people that don't get global warming cause I don't 'get' them and I sure as hell don't 'get' people who are in denial about global warming because it is right in front of your face.

Because they believe climate scientists instead of the propaganda machine of the fossil fuel industry. If we do anything about global warming it will cost them billions of dollars, so they spend millions to try to persuade people it isn't real.
