No ID = No Fly. PERIOD!

Social security cards and birth certificates will NOT suffice. You MUST have a government issued photo ID such as a driver's license, non-driver's ID, passport, military ID, etc.

One of the guys I work with lost his ID while on a business trip. He had to keep his rental car and drive to MO from CA to get home.

If you can't find your license, you'll just have to postpone your flight until you either find it or can get to the DMV and get a new one. Sorry, but there's NO WAY around that.

wow...surprised no one else answered it correctly...I see you already figured it out for yourself, but incase anyone else needs to know.

Yes you can fly with out any sort of ID. But you will become a Selectee, and be screened heavily by the TSA.

Its not something you want to do...Becuase you do have to jump through a few more hoops at check-in. BUT yes..it can be done!
