when you say FOR, you mean that the person makes you improve yourself, i'd say, and when you say TO you're reffering as to how they treat you

Yea, goo to me means that the other person complements what ever you are. Sort of 1/2 of you. Think Tom Cruise and his wife in that McGyre movie (show me the money). Good for me is a person who helps the other person all the time. Like keep from getting lost. Think of the fish with short term memory in Finding Nemo. Nemo was good for him.

When someone is good for you he/she may not be good to you. For instance, if you look like a slob, the person may tell you that you look awful and so force you to dress better. A person who is good to you may not say anything negative to you at all. So, if you are putting on too much weight, for example, the person may compliment you on being very intelligent, but will not advise you to lose weight.

You are so good for me means you think the person is good for you for what he/she has done.
You are so good to me means you exclaim that you find what the person is doing to you is good.
I know it's not much difference but it will be different the way you use it.

Completely different. Good for me can understand as suitable for you in jobs,or your first choice...but good to me means the way they treat you is good,or we can say kind to me it wont confuse

Yes there is a difference.
Someone who is good to you, still might not be good for you. When someone is good for you, they make you want to be the best person you can be, they do something to your heart and soul for the better. When someone is good to you, there might not be any chnge that deep down.

its all in your or the other persons perspective.when i tell my other half that they are good FOR me,i'm elling them more or less they enhance my happiness, they bring the best in me out, they are the rational when i am irrational...now ..good TO me..more or less is stating that that person is treating you the way you want to be treated or they do things for you out of care and love or just because.

For me would say that you want the person to be around for a while...you enjoy their company; support moral
To me would say they are an occasional visitor and materialism; gift bearer

Of Course, somebody that is "Good FOR You" means they bring out the "BEST IN YOU". Somebody that is "Good TO You" means they Kiss your butt, spoil you, and treat you like a Queen/King, regardless how you treat them.

Yes, but both are egocentric. Guinness is good FOR you. If I apply Preparation H to your but, then I'm being good TO you.
