Statisticly, roller coasters crash and cause deaths more often than airplanes. But, like was said earlier, when an airplane crashes, moer people are killed at one time. If your looking for which a person is more likely to die on, the answer would be rollercoaster.

They kinda fall in different categories, so they are not compared. However, do remember that there are faaar more aircraft then there are rollercoasters.
Aircraft are more dangerous then rollercoasters, but within tthe transportation world, which rollercoasters are not a part of, are the safest.

Per passenger mile probably an airplane but both are really really safe. If you want to live on the edge take a automobile ride.

Roller coaster because even though it carries less passengers, accidents occur on them more often than airplanes. So even though the plane carries more people and media makes a bigger deal when there is a plane crash, it doesn't mean they are deadlier.
