My grandmother was Patricia Waters, she came to Canada between 1916 to 1918, she had a brother James Waters, referred to as Jim, who spent some time in Australia, but ended up in Canada, she had a sister May, who was residing in England. Anyone having knowledge of the waters family, please drop me a line.

Hey Coolcatcanada,

This is actualy better posted in the Family section, whereas this is genealogy. Perhaps they are ancestors (deceased), so, try Family Search, first site below.

If they are still alive, try the infobel.com site below for the UK. This may take you some time to search.

There must be hundreds of differant Waters families. Same surname doesn't mean you're related. You will need to try to find where in England they came from then check local records there.

Waters is a fairly common surname so you need to be more specific as to area

I went to school with Margaret Waters and Simon Waters, not related to each other

Hi, I am disappointed with some of the response here but I do think your question is of very little use here, especially on christmas day.

Why don't you try: www.genesreunited.co.uk

Using the internet is not the best tool to use when locating family trees but it is worth a try especially when two lost relatives are using the same resources to locate one another.

Happy christmas and God bless.
Hope you find your relatives
