My Thyroied gland has already been removed. The cancer was identified as pappilarry carcinoma. Sebsequent oral radiation was done. Now I am OK.

I'm a former cancer patient too, have hyperthyroidism. The cancer type you had has a very high survival rate so you are in good hands, I would make sure you take the thyroid meds they prescribe you as you have no gland now to do the job needed in the body, and also to check in with your oncologist as they wish you too. If you notice any swelling in or around the neck, ask your doctor about lymphedema, be sure you get it checked out. I think you will be just fine. Congrats on ending the radiation!

There are more than 300 alternative therapies for cancer. Noni stands within the top ten list. Any cancer if it is in advanced stage may not respond to the treatment. I would stongly siggest, start drinking Noni herbal fruit juice.

Papillary thyroid carcinoma is usually associated with good survival rate,if you have regular follow up.Your oral radiation seems radioiodine.If you are near Delhi,follow up at department of Endocrinology,AIIMS.Other centers are Sanjay gandhi Institute,Lucknow and Christian medical college,Vellore,Tamil nadu

look seek advises from a doctor and dont stay with one doctor but ask 2 or 3 more doctor's opinion. but my advise will be all major disease are from our food intake. better eat more vegetables , fruits and fish. but the best way is think possitive, just let the word cancer as your shadow and move on ,then be happy. the emotion of individuals affects the longlivity of our life. and do more good deeds God will always love you and guide you.

i went through through thyroid cancer too and had my thyroid removed too. I also went through radiation treatment and now i am fine too, Be happy and praise God because he is my healer and he is your healer too.
