My shih tzu spent quite a while finding crumbs and treats under the table from last night's family get-together!

Professor, sir, I am a responsible pet owner and am well aware of the dangers of some human foods to dogs and obesity in dogs. I was merely amused at my dog wanting to be a four-legged vacuum cleaner.

Hell, I'm lucky if anything even makes it to the floor. I don't dare walk away from my plate. I'll come back and my little pug will have the biggest "puppy dog" eyes and ALL of my food will be gone!!

This is not a good habit to foster in any dog. There are some human foods that are poisonous to dogs (chocolate is especially dangerous) plus it encourages them to become food "stealers and beggers which is annoying. Dogs fed scraps will tend to become overweight, also. If you want your do to live a long life learn to say "no". Dogs live to eat and will eat themselves to death if you allow it so be a proper owner and "just say no".
