Depends on what style you want to read about. IF you are open to all styles or several styles, goto the webrings such as this
http://r.webring.com/hub?ring=legendsofmartial
or http://dir.webring.com/rw?d=Recreation___Sports/Sports/Martial_Arts
And you can find all kinds of Martial arts sites of every style and many of ways you can learn about martial arts, but you cannot really learn how to be a martial artist by just books and reading, it requires actual physical training as well. try those sites out I bet you will find alot you like. Use the sites to find a good school for you and agood teacher. That is what you need.

Karate trains both the body and the spirit - and the teaching varies according to the student, the progress the student makes, the personality the student brings to the study - there are too many variables for programmed course to be truly effective.
You need to find a good teacher and be prepared to spend several years to get at least a basic understanding. The physical side of karate is, in many ways, the least important.

Wikipedia has some good moves/videos for Judo. But Karate is unknown. You should take an actual course in it.

It is best you do take some instruction from an instructor, because you need to have some sort of mentor to let you know what you are doing right. If you have bad form and do not correct it you will have a bad art.
good luck...
