ME is the upgraded (however useless) of 2000, If you want to revert back to 2000 you'll need both the 2000 OS disc and some way to backup your current files and folders. Either an external drive or cd's.

If you have a win2000 installation disk, boot from it, if it asks you to choose between Upgrade and a New Install Then Choose to Upgrade. However if the option does not appear on the screen then you need to do a new install which will remove all existing data from the computer hard disk.

buy a windows 2000 cd and upgrade it.. or download it somewhere in the torrents

I'd get XP (or Vista when it comes out). Buy it in a computer shop.
