Me...normally i'll do the stupid eye stare game (don't ask me why...it's some instinctive habit go figure), and if i see you on a daily normally i'll crack little jokes or do things to get you to notice....i've changed a bit now and i can go up to someone and ask them out or whatever, but normally since i hate going up to someone without knowing for sure there's a mutual agreement that you're feelin me, i'll just sniff around or give hints by staring or flirting...stuff like that.

in this day and age, shy or not, a man dare not approach, nor even speak to a women in any way other than a professional and buisness like manner. otherwise he will be called everything but what he is, sued or arrested for sexual harrasment, intimidation, disorderly conduct, stalking, attempted rape, or any number of other half truth's and or outright lies that women can tell to a judge and jury while crying and get the man into great trouble !, a man must wait for the woman to make any and or all agressive moves and or suggestions, in order to be even half safe ! plus women are now worse than men when it comes to short relationships, no one is looking for long term or lifetime commitments any more nor even the work necessary to make a relationship last a long time , like our parents and grand parents !

I'm a shy guy especially when it comes to girls I like. Generally I've tried being her friend. I also do lots of instant messaging rather than face to face conversation. Other than that, if she ever needs help I drop whatever I'm doing and go out of the way to help her. Hmm. oh I act as a gentleman and talk to people around her but not to her directly unless she starts talking to me. Sometimes I get nervous and stammer. I hope that helps. I stuttered badly for 25 years and still do on occasion back then talking to women was impossible without making a complete fool of myself so I learned a great deal about body language and the little subtle things in this life If a girl I liked needed anything at all I tried to provide it with minimum talking, just carry something heavy, pick up something dropped, always opened her doors for her, listening with real concern when she talked, things like that ... we spend way too much time trying to be glib and cool with just the right words because out society tells us that is what makes us stand out but to learn about the subtlest things and then let that carry over into your life ..that's the cool way to do things, not bombastic and over the top and the perfect Mr. cool way.... but quiet, slow, sure, and steady.... always watching for that change to simply be there when most needed... women at least most of them .are hyper sensitive creatives especially in the ultra macho world of today... to learn that a guy is sensitive, polite, caring, attentive, and respectful is a turn-on for a lot of them and they respond in kind. The old r and b song lyric comes to mind, "you got to treat like a lady and she'll be good to you" ... learn to watch, be subtle, and smooth...... leave the moviestart act to others and you will never suffer from lack of quality company and companionship if you do these things with no strings attached and the wish to be helpful to this world in your heart.

I stare a lot and look away if she looks at me. when I got older it wasn't much better. I'd try to buy her a drink but most of the time I needed an agressive woman to come up to me.

i have dated shy guys and they will hang around alot. they will act like they are only interested in you are a friend. they will go out of their way to do something for you.

l try to give you a smile but sometimes l look away, but if l get the nerve l write a short letter or poem and try to find the opportunity the give it to you
