This just started this month while I was laying in bed one morning, my ear started ringing really loudly... I thought it would stop, which it did later on, but it comes back and is a little longe lasting each time. Now I can hear it and it's pretty loud compared to the ringing sensations I used to get. I can still hear fine, and it's not worrying me too much, but does anyone know what this? Also I don't do concerts or anything that often and I dont think my music in my car is too loud. HELP!

Have you been on pain medications? Do you take a lot of aspirin?

Ringing in the ears should be evaluated by a physician as sometimes this can be a sign of narrowing of the arteries in the neck which could lead to a stroke or death.

Exposure to loud noises causes ringing in your ears but there are other causes, better have it checked, mine started like that 10 or 15 years ago and now I am very hard of hearing and hearing aids don't help very much.

You only get one shot at hearing. If your body is giving you signs of problems, go to a Dr and see what it could be. What if you wait too long and you wake up one morning and it's in both ears, then another morning and you can't hear at all.
Be on the safe side and see a Dr.

Good luck

OK SO YOU FELL ASLEEP WITH YOUR BLUE TOOTH CELL PHONE ON YOURE LEFT EAR AND FORGOT IT'S THER, WHEN IT RINGS ANSWER IT AND THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED !, OR GO TO DOCTOR TO SEE ABOUT HAVING IT REMOVED, AFTER ALL THIS TIME IT'S PROBABLY WELDED TO THE SKIN, AND KILLED MILLIONS OF BRAIN CELLS FROM RADIATION !
