There are different kinds of love and different phases of those loves. I think you're in love if you're willing to give up your life for them. You can give up the life that you know for a new life. Where once you did as you please, but now you think about and do what pleases the one you love. Ultimately, I think it is a decision of the mind, because how you feel changes from day to day. So even if you don't feel "in love" you still just know that you love the person.

Love is unconditional, if you have children then you know what true love is.If it was cold out side would you offer to give your jacket even though you would be cold? if yes that is love any time that you would put the other person in front of your needs and wants that is love.

When you want what is best for their future, even if that future doesn't include you at all. If your needs prevent you from thinking like that, it's about you...not them...and it's not real love.

u know u'r in love when..
no matter how big and lively the crowd is (the crowd you are with)...BUT she's not there... YOU are still NOT happy...
everybody seems to greet you a very happy christmas already..yet you still feel that something's MISSING...until SHE greets you happy christmas..
you just can't say no to her (you can easily cancel all other appointments just to accommodate her)
that's love..
