Are there any other "good" vegetables for cats?

Cats and dogs need some veggies in their diet. That's why they eat grass when outside...or your houseplants if you don't let them out. The only bad vegetables I'm familiar with are garlic and onions.

We had a cat once that was diabetic and had diarrhea a lot. The vet recommended pumpkin to control the diarrhea.

To get veggies in our cat, we sprinkle a little "whole food nutrition" supplement powder on his daily ration of raw chicken. He snarfs it up with no problem.

Some cats like some vegetables and they certainly will not harm a cat as long as he gets regular cat food with good meat protein which is really all a cat needs to be healthy. Wild felines will die of starvation before they will consume any plant-based food.

Canned pumpkin or squash is added to a cat's diet sometimes to add extra fiber when a cat is constipated or has diarrhea. It is not necessary and it can help to correct either of those problems.

Yes cats can eat pumpkin and squash. Some also like bits of green beans, tomato, sweet or white potato.

Pumpkin is great to feed if a cat has diarreha or constipation. It helps take care of both.

Make sure what ever veggies you give your kitty have no salt or spices, that they are just plain.

As a snack, sure. Vets will often recommend pumpkin for constipation problems; we had a kitten with an intestinal problem whose diet under guidance of our vet included a lot of pumpkin for six weeks. Since cats are carnivores, vegetation shouldn't be a major part of the diet of any typical healthy feline, but tidbits are fine.

Pumpkin is one of the things recommended to give your cat if it has stopped eating. To get its appetite going. Your cat should like the smell and taste of canned pumpkin, like for pies. It must be good and have a lot of vitamins since it is recommended along with low sodium chicken broth.. My cat also eats mushrooms (cooked) since I make Portabella sandwiches, I'm a vegetarian.
I go outside and get grass for him to eat and he loves it so much. He watches from the window, he's meowing from when I pick it to when I get back in the house, and I call him my little cow he eats so fast.

A couple of years ago, one of my cats had blood in his stool and when I took him to the vet, he said he had irritable bowel disease and to feed him pumpkin pie filling. Pumpkin is loaded with fiber, which is what my cat was lacking. He now eats it once a day and he hasn't had any problems since. So yes, pumpkin is good for your kitty1

yes cats can eat pumpkin.
it helps them with fur balls in their digestive system if any.
BFF also has pumpkin in one of their tinned foods for cats.
Since introducing a little pumpkin into my 2 ragdolls evening meal ,there has been far less bouts of coughing up fur balls and yes they get brushed daily.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

Not really. Cats require a high protien and fat content diet. They don't really have the bacteria in their gut to digest vegetable matter. They're carnivorous, as opposed to omnivorous like humans and dogs.
