If you took 1 cup of pure fat and 1 cup of pure muscle tissue and weighed them on a scale, the muscle would weigh more than the fat.

When you start to work out, you body begins to change. You are actually losing the excess body fat, BUT you are replacing it with muscle tissue. That's a good thing!

Don't be discouraged. You are actually doing well to start a new healthy program. The key is to stay with it.

Now smile and say, "Yes, I AM worth it!"

Weight can fluctuate within a couple of kilos in the span of one day. It's very normal and depends on the time of day, what you've eaten and drunk, etc.
Expecting one session of yoga to have made any perceptible impact on your weight is just ridiculous.
Throw your scales away. If you're that easily discouraged, you're gonna have to adjust your attitude and your expectations, and probably increase your knowledge of exercise, nutrition, and how the human body works.

don't give up so easily. weight can fluctuate on a day to day basis. also weigh yourself at the same time everyday, without shoes or clothes, preferably. check your weight only once a week. educate yourself more regarding your food intake. read the labels on your food very carefully. count your carbs, calories, carefully. the biggest mistake people make when they count carbs, is , say a can of stew has 20 carbs, but the label says 20 carbs per serving, a serving could only be half of the can. hope this helps. you will loose weight. give it some time.

It's not all in the "weight"... honestly!!! It's more in the way your body is feeling,... do you feel firmer, more energetic with increased muscle tone. Muscle weighs more than fat - REALLY. So don't feel at all discouraged. You might want to consider this a good thing as it portrays your gaining muscle where you're losing fat.
