Remember Stalin ?

Yes.

There are bad people of every belief. Religion attempts to make the world a better place by following a practically utilitarian system that stops people from killing each other, but many religious people don't follow that anyway. How can people who won't even practice what they preach be trusted to come up with their own moral code for living life, since as an atheist, that's something you have to do.

Yes, there would still be killing, murder and war. However, if the world became true followers of Christ, imitating Christ and imitating first century Christians, then no, there would be no murder. And there most assuredly would be no war.

But you are right, not until after Armageddon, will such peace and security exist.

Would the world be free of problems? No not likely. Would people have a smaller set of excuses for killing each other? Yes.
Would there still be power mad demagogues using slogans and "isms" to promote hatred and bloodshed? Naturally yes.
Do you have a point? I don't think so.

And Stalin has nothing to do with it. Stalin used the same fervour people had for their religion by switching it to his state communism, the newer religion.

There will always be low class people of course. I think that perhaps without religion the world could work together for the things that would help to change the world into a better place to live. Religion divides. When a persons heart turns from god it often turns to mankind. IMAGINE

NO, in fact there will be more killing & wars, Because that spirit of conviction, which is the Holy Ghost will be lifted from mankind & satan will run lose & free, If you think satan is evil now, just let God withdraw his spirit of restraint from this earth & see what happens, The things you see going on today in the name of Religion is caused by satan, because For many years since mankind don't want God anymore, God has been lifting that spirit of conviction from mankind. And mankind has try to hide behind God, not even knowing they are fulfilling satan's Ideals.

Our Soldiers are dying TODAY trying to "democratize" a nation torn by religious war.
The Twin Towers fell to religious hatred.

And so on.

All the evil acts came from within our "desire". There will be no difference with or without the existence of religion, even religion exists, people are so rebellious to follow the commandments.

I doubt it; but if religious people believed that "god" was not on their side and that there were no after-life rewards for spreading their religion or converting others to their religion there would probably be much less of it.

Absolutely yes. Religion has nothing to do with it -- religion is just the RESULT of the projection of people's attack thoughts outward and given external sanctioning (as well as offloading responsibility for those thoughts).
