This guy was reallly nice to put up with me after I gave him mixed signals and cut him of my IM and Blog...he added me bacj and told me he could never get angry at me and even talked to me...but now I am falling for him and i think he only wants to be good friends with me..it doesn't have to do with low self-esteem..but I wonder why he still wants to keep in contact with me..he even ask my friend why my BF hit me and posted a pinch and flirt on my 360..but under a different nickname. I text him many messages but he didn't tell me when he returned to his base he we both are in Asia..he is a native but I am an american...He knows I have a BF but i am so mixed up now i don't know if he only wants to be friends or what...but maybe only friends...! am suprised he hasn't told me to U know what because I was so crazy and a little mean to him.....

Stop wondering, and just ask him! These days, young people are very forthcoming with each other, so there's no need to sit and try to figure him out. Be honest with each other, and the problem will resolve itself. Good luck, and Merry Christmas!

Well, he sounds like a very nice person. Someone that is obviously very fond of you, and there must be something about you that causes him to want to stay in touch, regardless of what you said and did.
Don't forget friends is often where good relationships begin. As you obviously are not certain what you really want, and I doubt you are totally in love with your present boyfriend (or you wouldn't even be thinking or considering anybody or anything else). why not keep things open? Also, no "man" should ever hit a woman! So, I would definitely not pin my hopes on your present boyfriend.
I know this sounds disloyal, but stay in touch with him, keep things going as they are and just wait and see what unfolds. You can't do much more. You can drop hints yes and see if he responds, but otherwise, the ball is in his court as to whether he will make it known if he wants more than friends.
At this point, if he does? He's probably playing it very safe and doesn't want to put you off or cause problems in your present relationship. But I would say he has feelings yes. Or he would have gone a long time ago!

Take a deep breath, step away from the computer. Tell someone else to log you off and shut it down. Now leave your computer room, and go outside.
