It's easy! Get up earlier in the morning and do not nap for the whole day, then you can sleep well...(Or maybe you can do housework until you are exhausted...then for sure you can sleep Very well )

Try aroma therapy. Like candles, incense, etc. Chamomile and lavender. Meditation. Complete silence and dark. A softer mattress. Try to deal with your daily stress during the day by at least a few hours before you knock off (yeah, like that's friggin' posible). See your doctor. Insomnia med's and sleeping pills have come a long way. There are even some natural homeopathic remedies on the market these days. In terms of pharmaceuticals, ask an MD about Ambien. It puts you out, yet is more mild than most tranquilizers. And you'll be able to wake up the next day. Keep bottled iced coffee right by your bed for the morning (like Starbuck's frappucino). If you're a female, I found that giving a girl that I'm with a MAJOR orgasm puts her right out. I'm not even kidding, have your man (or woman, it's cool) do you RIGHT. You'll sleep like a baby.

Take a nap early in the day... I work at night and nap all durring the morning hours if possible. People who go to school and want to work on projects their minds are busy and that is why a 10:30 or 11 pm is not good for you. Eating is thrown off to sleep on a full stomach you get fat. Then to exercise at night is not good either and a lot of the workout places are closed or your machine may make up noise if you are in a house or appartment.
I schedule a workout day and a party day on my off day. Some bill days too and sleep later when I am not on at night. Alarm clock is good and force yourself into to time zone you want.
We are creatures at habit and you have to take what you want even from yourself. Make demands on the body the you feel are necessary...And take time to reward yourself later.

MAKE SURE you get up early enough - make somebody else get you up, or use an alarm (but I assume you've already tried and that's not working too well for you). Come evening, you will be tired and ready to get to sleep again. You'll probably want to stay in bed until you normally get up once again, but make sure that somebody wakes you up again. Keep doing this until you get into habit.

Good luck!

firstly, before going to bed , be at peace of mind, I mean no heavy thinking like disturbing news. Or make use of your waking hours. It does not matter if you are fully awake at night as long as you have pleasant hours. It does not reduce your stamina. try it
