im scared my family might hurt him. i live with my grand parents and pop saids that if he puts hes pecker near me he will cut it off
and my boyfriend isnt like other guys and he will problery try and scare him off but im in love with my boyfriend and i dont really wana let my boyfriend meet my family causethey will problery try and scare him off or somthing plz i need some real avdice i should be able to have a boyfriend at my age im 17

signs of threatening to castrate him...excuse me i mean "cut it off?" i would say that your parents are in their over protective state. at 17 my parents wouldn't let me date. they let me date once i was in college. but that's just me. i think your parents are having a hard time adjusting to the fact that your becoming a young woman. let them know that you really consider him special and want them to keep an open mind and respect him. i would ask them whether they trust you enough that you use your best judgement and right now sounds lke you are scared of their reaction. just go for it. you can't control the situation, just hope for the best. but have a talk with them. good luck.

Relax. Take a test when you feel ready. If it turns out you are pregnant, look into adoption. I was adopted and my family is amazing. I was adopted at 2 days old, and I have an amazing life. I contacted my birthmother 2 years ago now, and we have a good friendship. She was also very young when she gave me up and was in an abusive relationship. She knew she couldnt give me the life I deserved, and I am so happy she did give me up. I really do have amazing parents and they have done so much for me. Adoption is wonderful, and it will be hard for you to give up your child, but you need to realize you need to do whats best for your child. If you wont have any support from family and friends and the x boyfriend, how will you raise this child? How will you earn money? Will you be a high school graduate? Did you want to go to college? Have a good career and a husband before you have a child? Than adoption would be the right idea. Adoption is the most selfless thing you could do. You are making a famlies dream come true, and your giving your child the life you could not have provided it. Adoption is wonderful, and you wont need to worry about your medical expenses either. If you do find out your pregnant, call up some adoption agencys and they will be more than willing to help you through this time. You can even help choose the family that your baby will go to. You can also choose to have an open semi open or closed adoption. Its a wonderful option and I would reccomend it. I am so happy I was put up for adoption, and all my friends that were also adopted have benefited greatly from the birthmothers selflessness. My birthmother made the right chose and I am forever greatful to her. Everything will work out in the end. Everything happens for a reason. Dont stress, and just look foward to the future. You will be fine.

Thats the job of father and grandfathers and family to scare the crap out of any guy a girl brings home. Yes you should be able to have a boyfriend at 17 but I wouldn't get too serious or plan to get married or anything like that at your age. Don't bring your boyfriend home unless he's willing to go the extra mile to prove to your family he's not out just to get sex from you.

The boy should be scared.
No doubt your 'boyfriend' is over 18 and you are not. There's plenty of reasons for him to be scared. Losing 'it' is just one more reason.
I can't advocate what your grand-pop says, but keeping you from ruining your life is the track he's on.

just dont tell them..im in ur exact same situation..im 17 and am not allowed 2 have bfs..am not even allowed to have guy frndz..
and to make matters even worse..i got a bf from a diff race and a diff religion..
so i just keep it away from them =)
