I will have to agree with the answer above me. I would also take some sort of tent or something I could make a cover out of.

I'm with onelight on this...of course, if i didn't have a bum and painful hip problem it might be different...but the cottage and the restaurant sound infinitely better than trying to sleep on the ground with a severe arthritic condition...LOL

last time i went camping all we took was 2 cases of beer :)
we slept in someone else's tent, ended up stripping because it was so damn hot... drank all of our beer the first night, and got up and went home the next morning! had a blast though :)
