well, you're not going to be able to. The only way to run a Mac OS is on mac designated hardware, which is why you have to buy their comps. The only way to run Microsoft with another OS like Linux, is to reformat your hard drive designating the partitions underneath of a FAT partition instead of NTFS. The FAT allows you to load multiple OS's.

Although I am only aware of Mac being able to function off of Mac hardware, I'm sure that somewhere out there a bright person has made a way to put Mac onto a PC's partitions.

To throw the PC in the Garbage and buy a Mac...
I'm sorry, but I don't think it can be done.

Apple designed it's OS to only run on its machines, which was why Microsoft grew so much faster than them in the 90s because their OS could run on any hunk of junk.

Now that both have Intel CoreDuo, which allows us to load Win XP on our Macs, perhaps you could somehow get OS 10.4 (Tiger) or the upcoming 10.5 (Leopard) to run on a PC...
