Men can lose weight faster than women for a number of reasons:
1. Men have more haemoglobin, so when exercising, more oxygen can travel to the respiring cells, and they can burn more calories that way.
2. Men have less fat storage capacity- very effecient in weight loss while dieting.
3. Men don't eat to overcome emotional obstacles:D

Yes new information is that men burn fat better than women.
Women are housing units for baby units and the body holds game of having fat on hand to keep baby nurtured in a questionable warm nest of the uterus. The hormones just seem to block into when you eat picking up fat just for being female in all the right and wrong places. So you can eat the same diet and men can burn of carbohydrates and build protein just beat the system women have to exercise and move more and drop the breads and sweets and water weight gain too... Its not easy being a woman....on a diet.

Yes men do. This is because they burn calories faster than women. I know weight watchers allows men more food than it does women. Sometimes even nature isn't fair to women (only kidding) Good luck to you both.
