Nowhere in the Bible (or in any other Christian writing after Jesus' ministry) is there any hint at all that Jesus was married. For example, His closest relatives and disciples came together at the cross as He was dying—but no wife is mentioned, as she would have been if He had been married. Jesus' sole concern then was for the welfare of His mother (see John 19:26-27).

This isn't to say that Jesus disapproved of marriage—not at all. In fact, His first miracle took place at a wedding, to which He had been invited with His mother and some of His disciples (see John 2:1-11). God gave marriage to us, and Jesus spoke often about the joys and responsibilities of marriage. Most of the earliest disciples were married, including Peter (whose mother-in-law was healed by Jesus—Mark 1:30).

Jesus came into the world for one reason: to die for our sins on the cross. Don't be misled by myths that might turn you away from that great truth. Instead, make sure of your commitment to Him, for "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree (cross), so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness" (1 Peter 2:24).

I hate to burst all these bubbles on here, but read a history book, people! Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus Christ. Had she not been his wife, she would NOT have been at his tomb. The only people to administer to the dead in that culture of that time were immediate female family members. This included grandmothers, mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. These were the only people of that society who could look upon the naked body of the dead without being put to death for it. Mary Magdalene WAS at the tomb with Mary, mother of Christ. Christ spoke to her. She TOLD people she saw Him and that He had risen. She would have been killed for even having been there to administer to his body had she not been married to him. And I knew this 20 years ago. It's simple logic. No one even thought of writing the DaVinci Code yet.

As for cheating, Christ was the only man to walk the earth without sin. Therefore, he did not cheat.

Were any of you alive during the time of Jesus? How can you answer that? Noone knows if he did have a wife and noone should take the verses to heart from the Bible because it was written by men who sought pleasure from sheep.

Jesus never married. any movie that says he was married is a lie. no place in the bible tells us that he was married. I would believe the bible before a movie. Mary Magdalene was a friend to Jesus and disciple, she was never his wife or did he have any children.

Christ states in The Word of God that we, (His Children) are the bride and HE IS the Bridegroom which will be joined together at the last day. Ever read in the Word of God about the great marriage feast that will take place?
