in the US no they could no longer be punished for adultery nor can they be criminally charged. besides the actuality that that's morally incorrect it is not a criminal offense. I do have faith in the equality in gender whilst it is composed of something regulation, paintings, abode and so forth...

They can, and are punished, in very primitive or very religious societies, where women are not considered equal to men.
