Both great stories, both total fiction and only one the mainstay in many people's eyes? What's that all about...?

I don't understand why religious people don't believe in Jack and the Beanstalk? If they can swallow the god thing why not the rest?
Jack and the Beanstalk...a lot more entertaining.

Jack and the beanstalk is probably more believable for some. God is for people with a sincere heart who dwell on His message and work at it.
If you don't have the staying power, you'll be more comfortable with Jack.

I just did a quick deathbed survey. As it turns out very few were calling out to Jack for salvation and the hope of eternal life in heaven.And the few that did met an ugly giant on the other side.
Today, you have opened the eyes of many with your very indepth and well thought out question. You should be proud.
