i dont be a Christian to be " cool". i be one cause it is in my heart. so i guess i dont think it is "cool". i think it is wonderful, life changing, and awesome. merry christmas!!

Yes, it's cool. You have inner peace. You have confidence that God really cares about you and when you pass from this life you'll be with Him. Nobody really knows what that would be like , exactly, but here are some ideas.
What do you think it would be like to live in a home made especially for you by the creator of the universe?
How would you like to be able to travel at the speed of thought to wherever in the universe you wanted or needed to go?
How would you like meeting an all powerful inter dimensional entity up close and personal as a friend - or even being one yourself?
It might be more than cool.

Cool? not so much. Correct and the right thing, you bet.
By following the word of God you know two things.
1. Whatever you do is in fellowship with all mankind. The Christian God, which is not the same god as Islams, did not command his followers to beat his wife or kill infidels (non believers)
2. You have peace of mind and heart that you know where you will spend eternity.
These are things non Christians cannot understand. Only by giving yourself to the Lord can u experience the blessings he has for u and the internal peace it brings to you. If you are a Christian you already know this, if not a Christian, go to church and talk with believers, read the Bible and give yourself for salvation.

Yes it is cool to be a Christian. We are waiting for the biggest event the Rapture to take place when the dead and living in
Christ Jesus will meet him in the air. We have been waiting for a very long time and to think of how great that day of rejoicing will be. The rejection and the pain and the suffering will suffer no more and tears will be wiped away by Jesus Himself. We celebrate his birthday today number 2007 really in his After Death. Then the not knowing the day or hour of His return.
Like the story of the 7 Virgins getting ready for the great return of the Brides Grooms...Getting ready doing good deeds and being spotless in party clothes to shed mortal to put on immortally the block sealed forever the party of the generations. All the people you think are going to make it, and those you wish would have. Its a choice not to go to Hell and to decide if you want to be in that number. I think of a ticket in baptism in your local church to make your election sure to be for Jesus so you will be able to get out of here. Then the fight between the world leaders and the devil in the Armageddon thing. I can not think of stay here to see the devil loose this battle. Revelations and the change of the descriptions of either nations or huge monsters seen in dreams of things to come to back and be a martor and loose your life for Christ and not take the mark of the beast. When they killed Jesus they did not know what they were doing. They followed the scripture and He knew He would be more powerful after death then they were in life. I feel Jesus knew about us waiting for His return and talking about Him right now. Its all about seeing Him face to face. And that is way Cool!

whats cool is the western traditions of being christian, like christmas is celebrated in most countries around the world linked to western culture, ie. the gifts, santa, decorations.
So i guess, the movies, books and other media make these non-religious values seem cool and this may give an impression of it being cool to be a christian.

Sure, if going no farther than holding hands on dates, sex only for procreation and during marriage (only a few times in your whole life), forcing your will on others, criticizing everything you don't agree with, believing in superheros, stealing pagan traditions and claiming them as yours, liking bad music, bad movies and living a life of lies is cool then yes, christians are cool.

Though I am a Jew, I think it is cool to be a Christian. Or to be more precise, I think it is NOT cool to be fanatic in regards to any religion, including Christianity.

It's cool with me as long as you're not trying to shove your beliefs down my throat and you're willing to listen to what other people have to say.
As far as it being cool in the pop culture sense, I'm afraid it's not much cooler than Barney the Dinosaur, but don't worry about that: I mean, have you seen what passes for cool these days?!? If that's what's cool, I'm sure glad I'm not.

It is nice. Besides that you get together with really nice people who share your believes and there are always there helping when one is in need. You get to receive Christ and experience his love. Christianity is not going to transform you into a different "better" person its how you build your character. Its you who makes the choice to do right.

I think it is cool to be in the most life changing club in the whole world. I think it is to know my destiny is secure and to know I am personally loved be the leader of the club
