Forget the immoral part, it is simply dangerous. Many squirrels have rabies. And many other very serious diseases that are very harmful to humans. If someone gets sick or dies, you can be prosecuted for murder, or held liable for medical bills. It might sound funny, but it is really not!
Merry Christmas!

1. You've got more to worry about then your guests if it was indeed the squirrels who went after the turkey. My limited knowledge says that squirrels are not particularly carnivorous. If they're getting to be that way in your neighborhood, I would start checking for nuclear or chemical leaks big time.
2. Throw the turkey out, have a good laugh with your guests about the incident and come up with something else. Or take them out to dinner. If they find out what you've done, you're likely to have eight fewer guests in the future.

actually, it is not the morality that counts so much. when the squirrels had a merry go at the turkey, they may have inadvertantly transmitted certain germs , which may cause common or sometimes very rare and difficult to diagnose infections. i feel it is wise to let the squirrels have a merry christmas with the remaining turkey. but if this is not possible you must see to it that the turkey is very well cooked. simple washing with hot water won't suffice.see to it that the turkey is well cleaned and thoroughly cooked.

Squirrels are rats with fluffy tails. Were the truth that you served rat gnawed turkey carcass to come out, you would be so black-listed forever.
No amount of washing without major chemicals can kills some of the bacteria, desease in their little rat saliva.
Toss the bird. Try to find a stand-in dish. Tell the truth. Have a good laugh tomorrow.

I agree with those who say don't serve it - the health risk is too great, and your guests won't thank you for a Xmas present of gastro enteritis. Find something else to eat! Merry Christmas!

squirrels? ah right 'squirrels'.....with thin, not-very-bushy tails.
well, *those* sort of "squirrels" are known carriers of a number of dangerous diseases, and are notorious for peeing over their food....even the bits they dont seem to have eaten. So be sure to heat the turkey enough to kill any lurking germs (god knows what temperature you would have to heat it to), personally, I would chuck the turkey and have sausages instead.
