I feel pressure in my sinuses and it's also causing me to have a head ache. Can sinus pressure cause my ear to block and ring? I can still hear from it. It sounds almost as if I spent the night with my ear next to a speaker with very loud music coming from it...

Yes. Blocked sinuses can cause ringing in the ears.

I disagree with the previous poster about Tinnitus because you don't have it every single day forever. I have had Tinnitus for about 2 years now. You don't have it. Your problem is temporary. Here's a link to a Tinnitus website:

The difference is that your ear problems will go away once the condition clears up. You could have an ear infection that could simply be cured with antibiotics placed in your ear. If it's a sinus problem, that can also clear up with medications.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but I WOULD go see a doctor to get some medication to get rid of the problem. It has got to be very discomforting for you...

Merry Christmas and good luck!

Yes, sinus pressure can surely cause pain and all the above.
Steps you can try are:
1. Take a steaming hot shower to drain the sinuses.
2. Eat a bowl of hot soup...any kind you like and add hot spices.
3. Sinus medication.
Honestly, step 2. works the best for me.

It's called Sinusitus or URI with Otitis Media. (Sinus infection with an ear infection) But only a doctor can give you an accurate diagnosis. Just do NOT go to the ER with this minor problem. Make an appointment on Tuesday and see your Primary Care Physician.

It sound like you have tinnitus in your ear. You need to get some effective sinus treatments so as to relieve the symptoms and hopefully the tinnitus will dissipate too.
